2 heavy vertical bars appear in forum tab if inactive for an hour

Hi! My browser is Google Chrome on Windows 10. If I have a forum topic open in a tab, and I tab away to another window and wait about an hour, the tab title changes. Something that looks like a pause symbol shows up between the favicon and the tab title. If I go back to the tab the pause symbol goes away.

Here's a picture of it:

I realized that it is not a pause icon, but actually two Heavy Vertical Bar characters ❚❚ (U+275A). As far as I can tell this only happens on the Malwarebytes Forums. This seems like such weird behavior? Is this intentional? Has anybody else observed this?

Ah that is good to hear. Sorry for making such a big deal about a silly thing. Thank you very much for replying.

It's a notification/status icon from IPS (the forum software) to let you know that automatic updates of content, replies, notifications, etc. is currently suspended for that particular topic you have opened in that particular tab.
