Hello @cterry877 and :welcome:

I'm sorry to read you have an issue with multiple systems but please let's concentrate on only one of the several systems to keep possible confusion at a minimum.

  • Please download the Malwarebytes Support Tool.
  • In the system's Downloads folder, open the mb-support-1.8.7.918.exe file.
  • In the User Account Control pop-up window, please click Yes to continue the installation.
  • Run the MBST Support Tool.
  • In the left navigation pane of the Malwarebytes Support Tool, please click Advanced.
  • In the Advanced Options, please only click Gather LogsA status diagram displays the tool is Getting logs from your machine. Please wait for this task to fully complete.
  • A zip file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to the system's desktop. Please upload that file in your next reply to this topic.

Thank you.

Is there no support from Malwarebytes? Thanks for your attempt to help.  This is just getting very frustrating having to support several online businesses. This all happened after the last Malwarebytes upgrade.  I have had both Malwarebytes and Surfshark for years and never had this problem until then.  Thanks for your help. I am also a retired IT Mgr of 33 years.

Hello @cterry877

Sorry to hear your computer is having issues. According to the current logs the issue started on 9/23 which also corresponds to when you started your topic. There were two members already assisting you. If you're available I can assist you in looking at  your computer.

My initial guess is that either McAfee or Malwarebytes made an update that affected the other. Prior to 9/23/2021 the logs do not indicate this issue was ongoing.

If you'd like me to assist you in working on the computer issues please let me know. If instead you'd rather pursue seeking a product refund we can do that. You would need to open a ticket on the Help desk to start the process. It will probably take 3 to 5 business days for a reply but they will follow through with you for a refund if wanted.

Thank you and again sorry your computer is having issues.
