File by Path (Wildcard) or Command Line Exclusion Question

Can you use File by Path (Wildcard) to exclude an executable regardless of path? Such as *sqlservr.exe*.

Or would that fall under Command Line?

No, I'm sorry you cannot exclude by that method.

You can use an MD5 hash in some cases depending on what it is.

 

CertUtil -hashfile <path to file> MD5

Example:
certutil -hashfile notepad.exe MD5
