MikeCarnivore Posted August 31, 2021 ID:1477657 Share Posted August 31, 2021 Hi, we are facing an issue where the reservation widget that we use at https://carnivore.com.sg/carnivore-outlets/ is being detected as malware and blocked by users of Malwarebytes Browser Guard. Quandoo is a legitimate restaurant booking platform and we are facing a potential loss of reservations/sales due to this. Please assist in assessing the legitimacy of the detection and blocking and if found to be not intrusive, exclude the widget from being identified as malware. Link to post

That was not coming up for me initially. @MikeCarnivore The message you received by the user was not generic (as I said earlier). The widget has been verified and whitelisted. Please allow 15-30 minutes for changes to take effect. If you continue to receive issues after that time, use the "kebab" menu in the screenshot shown above to access the Check for updates button. Sometimes Browser Guard displays cache after content has been updated. Sorry for the inconvenience. Link to post

It is being unblocked now, but will require 2-4 hours for changes to take effect. THAT WILL ONLY AFFECT USERS OF OUR PREMIUM PRODUCT. Browser Guard users should be able to use the service now. I have checked on my end (using Malwarebytes Browser Guard Free) and the widget now appears. I will get back to you on the premium user part when I am able to check, if there any issues. Link to post
