So far this has been a less than stellar experience with the forum. Well, its not 100% your fault. Along with the 21H1 it installed KB5005101 again, so I uninstalled that and the VPN connects again. So, the entire point of this thread is for the developers to know that the malwarebytes-vpn does not play well with update KB 5005101. Link to post

jamesjec53fl Posted September 9, 2021 ID:1479083 Share Posted September 9, 2021 If this topic is still open I would like to inquire if there is any new information. I had the same problem after the KB5005101 update. After searching for the cause of the problem I also uninstalled KB5005101 and then was able to connect with the VPN without problem Link to post
Staff gatortail Posted September 9, 2021 Staff ID:1479095 Share Posted September 9, 2021 Yes, there is a known issue with KB5005101 breaking WireGuard. It must be uninstalled if it's been applied until Microsoft provides a fix. Link to post
