Albupad.nl is reported by you as suspicious. I am the owner of albupad.nl and albupad.com. There is as far as I know nothing wrong with that site. Please take the block away or explain to me what the reason is for this block. I scanned the file with Malware Bytes (!) and found no problem at all.

Website blocked due to a suspicious download

Thank you for your response.

Malwarebytes (MWB) itself does not, as far as I understand it, log the problem. The problem is detected by Malwarebytes browser guard in the chrome browser. Since MWB does not record it and therefore cannot produce  a log for the event, I included 2 screenshots of the MWB detection history.  I also included a screenshot of the browser guard window which lists the problem for this file or site.

Also included in the rar file is the target installation exe file which triggers the browser guard message. The MWB desktop version does not detect any problem with this file.

In order to duplicate the problem you do not have to log in anywhere. Simple click on the following link:

https://www.albupad.nl/site1/index.php?option=com_phocadownload&view=category&download=1:albupad-installatieprogramma-nl&id=1:albupad-downloads-nl&Itemid=113&lang=nl

The link points directly to the target installation program.

One step before that link, where you can click the Download button for this file with the same effect:

https://www.albupad.nl/site1/index.php?option=com_phocadownload&view=category&id=1&Itemid=113&lang=nl

Thank you for your quick response and for whitelisting the site.

The Download Debug Logs are interesting. I did not know they existed. I assume that, if sent to you, you explicitly would ask for only the lines with the problematic events.  My impression is that anyone on this forum can also see them when uploaded. Since the debug logs contain a full browser history, that could pose a privacy issue. Could you please give more information on this subject?

Extracting from such logs is likely to defeat their purpose and uploading them to the Forum is always discouraged. That's why it's always suggested that you do so only by opening a Customer Support Ticket or dm'ing these logs to the known staff member requesting them.

Sorry Alvarnell, this is somewhate confusing for me and perhaps to other users in the future. That is why I bring up this subject.

When for the first time looking on your site how to report a false positive, I went to the False Positives section. I was not aware at that moment that Browser Guard is apparently something else than the  Malware  Bytes desktop program. I got a short noreply e-mail that instructed me to "send the log".

In the False Positives section of your website it is stated:

Attach the scan log with your postAdditionally, please also attach the detected file with your post.

So, in my opinion, uploading to the forum is not discouraged at all. On the contrary, it is the instruction to the user that he has to attach the scan log with the post.

My suggestion is to guide the user of the site to the correct subsection, MWB or BG, and explain the differences and how exactly to proceed.

This was not all clear to me. In fact it still is not completely clear.

Only you and authorized members can view the logs attached in this section.

If you post in the wrong section, moderators will move it to the correction section pretty quickly.

But it shares the database for the desktop program and and also has blocks exclusive to only Browser Guard.
