Adware still has some parts left

Recommended Posts

Recently ive had a bit of a panic about a malware i thought i had removed has changed some things in my system, although running a scan with mcafee clears the majority of it up, but on startup it returns. I have run a scan with hitmanpro and it seems to be IntelAudioService.exe was changed when i had the malware originally. I have a dell inspirion 15 5000 running windows 10 and i think i just need help replacing the file. Thanks.

Hello @ice739

Let us get some logs so that we can further discuss your possible issue. Getting a bit late for me so I may have to follow up with you tomorrow.

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system.
You can check here if you're not sure if your computer is 32-bit or 64-bit

  • Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press the Scan button.
  • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please attach it to your reply.
  • The first time the tool is run, it also makes another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply as well.

Thank you
