FeelTech software was detected as malware

I was surprised that MBAM found this Function Generator control software to be malware (AI.4147804021), although its readme.txt file did warn "Because this program is writed by VB, it may be mis-recognized as virus". As the malware finding made me too nervous to install the software on my regular Win10 machine, I dug out a stand-alone Win7-64 machine to try it out on. As I used the program and did further research about the FeelTech company in China, I found it very hard to believe that there might be bad stuff lingering in the software, but one never really knows.

I would be grateful if you would examine this software further to determine its true status. I believe the file in question is "FY8300 DDS Signal PC Software V6.3.exe". Log and rar files attached.
