C# Developer dll's flagged "Malware.Heuristic.1008"

Recommended Posts

Hello Support,

On my latest scan just about every program I'm currently working on was Flagged under this section. I would like to know what I can do as a Developer to not have my applications blocked. It seems it's only the debugged version and not the release code that is being flagged.

Malware.Heuristic.1008, C:\USERS\UserName\SOURCE\REPOS\BATTLEENGINEJSONCREATION\BATTLEENGINEJSONCREATION\BIN\DEBUG\NET5.0\REF\BATTLEENGINEJSONCREATION.DLL, No Action By User, 1000001, 0, 1.0.41841, 0000000000000000000003F0, dds, 01294264, 9B5FA905E9556BD7078619DA4F1CD684, DA3231FEAD34AF109DB2B2B271281CBA1771891E70C5A2AF4DD872847A2D207A

It's pretty much the same thing on all of my dll's so maybe I'm not doing something the proper way. I do use a template when building new applications. Instead of posting my entire code if you can help me to identify what it doesn't like I can post that section and share it.

The heuristic expert system algorithms setting detects malformed files. Are you using any kind of protection packer or software? It is recommended to leave this malwarebytes setting off.

Also to exclude your development directory as incomplete files can setoff a lot of huerisitics in general.

I would need some of the files detected to see what we can do about a stronger whitelisting.
