Unable to Remove Malware.AI.263081414

Recommended Posts

Hey folks, I ran a scan yesterday as my computer was acting a little strange - fans on full speed and CPU usage spiking, slow load times for basic applications, disconnecting from wifi, etc. Before the scan was complete I got a BSOD and had to manually restart. Ran a scan in safe mode with Windows Defender and got nothing back. Rebooted and things seemed to be working normal so I initiated another scan with MB Premium and the scan went very slow(over four hours) then identified a threat that I selected to quarantine. During the subsequent restart the computer froze without powering down. After about 30 minutes I pressed the reset button. When it rebooted I had the report with the threat identified but when I go to remove the malicious file it says i am unable to remove it and shows in the report as ignored. I dug through the forums and downloaded the AdwCleaner tool, ran that and it detects nothing. Attached are the reports, please let me know if there's anything else I can provide to help. Thanks!

Hi,

No malware was found in your logs.

Please download the attached Fixlist.txt file to  the same folder where the Farbar tool is running from.
The location is listed in the 3rd line of the FRST.txt log you have submitted.

Run FRST and click Fix only once and wait.

The Computer will restart when the fix is completed.

It will create a log (Fixlog.txt) please post it to your reply.
