Chrome crashes

[Metallica]

As of yesterday, many users have reported unexplained crashes of the Chrome browser.

Symptoms:

- Extensions crash 

- All pages (including Chrome pages like settings) refuse to load.

- The screen is completely blank

- The tab is simply labeled "Untitled" with a frowning folder next to it.

These crashes are NOT related to Browser Guard. A possible solution can be found here.
