Privacy - not always connected

As with Windows Privacy in the early days, Privacy does not stay connected.

Have to constantly check if it is connected.

There appears to be no indicator if its connected or not from the Home screen of a IOS, mine shows if using WiFi or 4G etc. But not VPN etc.

Or are the settings incorrect ?

Hi Maltelboy,

Thank you for posting.

Depending on the model of iPhone you have iPhone X and newer status bar was updated to only include essential icons due to the notch on the screen.

Therefore after connecting the VPN icon disappears and is part of the OS functionality.

You can check that you still connected by using Control Center on the top right of your screen.

Also, be aware that certain things - like restarting your phone - can cause the VPN to disconnect, if you don't see the VPN indicator in the Control Center. There will be an update in the future that will enable "connect on demand," so that the VPN is always connected whenever needed.
