Malwarebytes detects two issues in AOMEI

I use AOMEI Backupper v5.3.0.  It has been installed for some time. I did do a backup/restore a few weeks ago. Otherwise I backup on an infrequent basis (data is on cloud)681868840_malwarebytesquarantine.JPG.b6192d766a60fcab955207bb56c1c90d.JPG681868840_malwarebytesquarantine.JPG.b6192d766a60fcab955207bb56c1c90d.JPG

Today, during a normal scan, Malwarebytes (v4.3.0) reported two issues. I chose to put these in quarantine. The files were in the AOMEI folder in Windows programfiles(x86). Copy of quarantine is attached.

This has never happened before. Has something changed in Malwarebytes? With these files in quarantine, will AOMEI now no longer work? That would mean I have no backups?

I am naturally concerned and need a plan on what to do next to ensure system is backed up.

They are probably FP's. There have been several today.

I would update and un quarantine them.

Please zip and attach them here along with the log showing the detection.

Thanks,

I take it FPs are false positives?

If you meant update MWB? I did that, then removed the files from quarantine. I have attached the MWB log and zips of the actual files. When I tried to email those files to myself, Thunderbird wouldn't do that - said they may have viruses!

Let me know if you need more

ADDED: I scanned those files with MWB today and it said there was no problem!

Many of those false positives were fixed already and is probably the reasons they were not detected now.

I do not have a detection on those files now.
