Help uninstalling hidden system news app on UMX693 from Assurance Wireless

I thought I had all the malware off, but I keep getting notifications from something named com.android.part.onews. It doesn't show in the system apps, so I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Assurance is of no help at all. They say it can't be removed, but by God, if it was put on there, it can be removed!

The news seems to be coming from Google, and somehow sending news on subjects I've watched on YouTube or read on Google News. I've searched Google settings, but all you can do is turn off news relevant to you, not turn off Google news altogether. The setting says you will still get news, but it may not be relevant.

I can't view the news in the notifications, because I don't have the Google News app, so it's just sending out annoying notification sounds. Can I at least somehow get rid of the sounds? TIA

From Wiko to UMX I still haven't changed over yet, my experience with my phone is today the mobile install I uninstalled barged into my phone an brought 10 updated apps with it. No life and death situation... Now Pegasus messenger is another story.
