Unblocking an official site

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I run a testing website on behalf of a national program in the UK for testing systems against a standardised certification for the UK's Cyber Essentials scheme.

Malwarebytes currently blocks this site because it is hosting the EICAR and AMTSO test files to verify that AV is actually configure correctly and is scanning. Yes, it should freak out at the attachments/downloads. However, it should only do so when it encounters the files. The site is used by auditors and assessors to conduct this test according the scheme's test schedule.

The url in question is hxxps://scan.cyberessentials.live

Can you help?

Hello, thanks for bringing this to our attention. We've reviewed the site again and have determined it no longer warrants being blocked so we've removed it from our database.

Removal should be reflected in the next database update going out in a few hours or so.
