bpsitrep Posted April 10, 2021 ID:1450524 Share Posted April 10, 2021 I keep getting the same message that Malwarebytes is blocking this 'outbound port' but have no knowledge of how to stop/remove this. Please use layman basic user terms when replying thank you. We watch Dramacool website and that's where this has been popping up from all the time. Maurice Naggar Posted April 10, 2021 ID:1450541 Share Posted April 10, 2021 Hello. My name is Maurice. I will be guiding you. Please let me know what name you prefer to be addressed. The real time web protections are keeping your system safe from potential harm. The message does NOT equate to a finding of actual infection on your box. The potential harm is external out there at the link mentioned on the BLOCK report. Read this support article. And focus on second half of it. Look at HISTORY log for the Block. Export out latest block report & attach that into next reply. https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038479194-View-Reports-and-History-in-Malwarebytes-for-Windows Have faith & patience. Porthos Posted April 10, 2021 ID:1450561 Share Posted April 10, 2021 @Maurice Naggar FYI, that site is a FP.
Maurice Naggar Posted April 10, 2021 ID:1450567 Share Posted April 10, 2021 Thank you for that news, Porthos. @bpsitrep The Malwarebytes program will self-update as long as you have the Premium license, or else in the Trial mode. In any event, the specific blocked link you had seen before should not repeat. Let me know if you need other help.

I did notice a warning yesterday that program has stopped and clicked the ok to get it running again. We did watch a show late last night and MWB warning did show up again. I just opened a random JDrama and did not see that warning. I did get a pop up that opened another window ( favicon I think it said) but I closed it just as quick. Thank you for your time and assistance.
Maurice Naggar Posted April 11, 2021 ID:1450700 Share Posted April 11, 2021 Good morning. F/P stands for false positive. The term means in effect that the block on movcloud.net was baseless. It has been removed. Now, before we do other things, I need your confirmation that you applied all my tips from before https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/272856-trojan-outbound-warning/?do=findComment&comment=1450548

I've had issues with Chrome and had MS tech's actually helped me out awhile back so I continue using Edge/Bing for my online connection. FireFox I don't have no more. Dumped it awhile back. So, is there anything other I should be adding to Edge?
