Sorry if this is the same as the others youve had in the past few hours but these two says it comes from system32 and windows and is thus very spooky to me

This was a false positive and should now be corrected.  Please update Malwarebytes and it should no longer be blocked.

You can update either by right-clicking the Malwarebytes tray icon and clicking Check for Updates, or by opening Malwarebytes and going to settings by clicking the small gear icon in the upper right then clicking the Check for updates button located near the top of the General tab.

Can you please collect and upload as an attachment the diagnostic data using our MBST?

  • Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  • Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair)
  • Click the Gather Logs button, and once it completes, attach the zip file it creates on your desktop to your next reply
