Security tool virus - Malwarebytes or Trend Micro HighjackThis don't run

After I got the security tool virus, I tried using my antivirus (NOD32) to get rid of it, but it doesn't let me run it. My desktop has dissappeared, icons, background picture, and now it's all black. Also, it won't let me run any of the microsoft office programs, or any windows games. It doesn't let me run the already installed malwarebytes' anti-malware. Everytime I double click on mbam-setup it opens a window where I click run, and then it opens a smaller window but it quickly dissappears. Sometimes this last window doesn't even open. I also downloaded the Tren Micro HighjackThis but it won't let me run it either. When I click on the HJTInstall icon, and then click on run, it won't run. What should I do?

Sorry for delayed response. Forums have been really busy. If you still need help with this do following, please.

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here or here.

Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.

  • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
    1. DDS.txt
    2. Attach.txt

    [*]Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.

Download GMER here by clicking download exe -button and then saving it your desktop:

  • Double-click .exe that you downloaded
  • Click rootkit-tab and then scan.
  • Don't check
    Show All
    box while scanning in progress!
  • When scanning is ready, click Copy.
  • This copies log to clipboard
  • Post log in your reply.
