I have no idea but this is detecting all my C# files made with Visual Studio 2017.

I can no longer programming with MBAM enabled because it automatic delete the file that got compiled.

This is detected by our MachineLearning engine, which helps to protect even better against 0day threats. Unfortunately, as this is a heuristic engine, it's possible False Positives happen. Also see here for more explanation:

I suggest, in your case, you exclude the "working" directory from detections.

Does this type of detection require any additional tools to remove, or any recommended security setting changes,?

Hi,

No, it doesn't require any additional tools or settings to remove. You just need to create an exclusion under Settings > Allow List > Allow a file or folder. In your case, you'll probably need to select your working directory where you compile your files.

In a meanwhile, we've added the sample you attached to our learning engine again, so this won't be detected anymore in the future.
