Please don't be surprised in your findings.

Before I installed Malwarebytes on my WIN10 computer I got a threatening email form a hacker.

Windows defender did not find any problems, which is very unfortunate because in-fact there was a security problem.

At that point I tried Malwarebytes and Malwarebytes found number of threats.

Also, as you wrote, I also found logs on my laptop with whatever I typed in the past and I also located some txt files in my doc folder and the root C I never created. 

The techsupport staff of Malwarebytes was great and recommended that I also run their other program: Adw Cleaner:

AdwCleaner - Free Adware Cleaner & Removal Tool | Malwarebytes  

The AdwCleaner found some other threats which Malwarebytes did not find.

After removing all these threats I am OK.

After having the said above experience, I cannot trust anylonger to Windows Defender .

I also contacted Microsoft and reported all the above directly to a person responsible for Windows Defender operations.
