My account has been compromised

What in the ***** is going on here, my account has not only had a password change but email associated. I have 2FA setup across all my platforms. How in the ***** can I not regain access to my own account and have to submit a ***** support ticket and all I am seeing is that this can take 3-5 days. You guys have messed up and had my account details leaked so what I want right now is support firstly regaining my account. Secondly refund me the whole money I’ve payed. Imagine a security system where the web side is degenerate and I cannot even secure my own online account. No where has this information been leaked so you must have a breach and reading recent news guess you have some explaining to do. Ticket is 3403676 - fix this please this is your fault

If you are having technical issues with our Windows product, please do the following:

Malwarebytes Support Tool - Advanced Options

This feature is designed for the following reasons:

  • For use when you are on the forums and need to provide logs for assistance
  • For use when you don't need or want to create a ticket with Malwarebytes
  • For use when you want to perform local troubleshooting on your own

How to use the Advanced Options:

  1. Download Malwarebytes Support Tool
  2. Double-click mb-support-X.X.X.XXXX.exe to run the program
    • You may be prompted by User Account Control (UAC) to allow changes to be made to your computer. Click Yes to consent.
  3. Place a checkmark next to Accept License Agreement and click Next
  4. Navigate to the Advanced tab
  5. The Advanced menu page contains four categories:
    • Gather Logs: Collects troubleshooting information from the computer. As part of this process, Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST) is run to perform a complete diagnosis. The information is saved to a file on the Desktop named mbst-grab-results.zip and can be added as an email attachment or uploaded to a forum post to assist with troubleshooting the issue at hand.
    • Clean: Performs an automated uninstallation of all Malwarebytes products installed to the computer and prompts to install the latest version of Malwarebytes for Windows afterwards. The Premium license key is backed up and reinstated. All user configurations and other data are removed. This process requires a reboot.
    •  Repair System: Includes various system-related repairs in case a Windows service is not functioning correctly that Malwarebytes for Windows is dependent on. It is not recommended to use any Repair System options unless instructed by a Malwarebytes Support agent.
    • Anonymously help the community by providing usage and threat statistics: Unchecking this option will prevent Malwarebytes Support Tool from sending anonymous telemetry data on usage of the program.
  6. To provide logs for review click the Gather Logs button
  7. Upon completion, click OK
  8. A file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your Desktop
  9. Please attach the file in your next reply.
  10. To uninstall all Malwarebytes Products, click the Clean button.
  11. Click the Yes button to proceed. 
  12. Save all your work and click OK when you are ready to reboot.
  13. After the reboot, you will have the option to re-install the latest version of Malwarebytes for Windows.
  14. Select Yes to install Malwarebytes.
  15. Malwarebytes for Windows will open once the installation completes successfully.

I reviewed your ticket and based on your email address the automated system was unable to locate any purchase or license information.

Can you please send me a private message with your license number and proof of purchase the email address used when you made the purchase so that I can look things up.

That’s the *****ing problem they changed the email address on my account, I do not have a proof of purchase, understand this is my account, this is like one massive joke right now.

I may be wrong but didn't you receive an email from CleverBridge about your purchase from Malwarebytes?

I delete all emails once I have no need for them. I should not need to keep a proof of purchase of an antivirus. My account has been taken over my a .vn domain. This is a Vietnam address. What is more important here is the fact this system allows this to be done, I have no recovery options in anyway and no dedicated support team to help me. What needs to be seen is how my account on my email has been changed without my permissions

I have yet to receive any reply since Sunday, my support ticket has not had a single response in a week. I have provided and uploaded all documents asked from me and a total of 2 agents have spoken to me on here and on a Reddit chat since I made the same post there. They have not updated me once since Sunday even after saying it would be sorted ASAP. Mean while my account is still not under my control and they have not interacted with our chat since Sunday. This is the best security and service I have ever seen 😆
