Dorked Posted March 13, 2021 ID:1444339 Share Posted March 13, 2021 Hi! I'm posting because my webcomic's website, InvertedFate.com keeps flagging as a possible scam. This may be because of the way the website is coded to change the page url without fully refreshing the page. However, this site is completely benevolent- I and my webhost have confirmed that there is nothing dangerous on the site. "window.history.pushState("data","Title",window.location.href.split('?')[0]+"?part="+part+"&page="+page);" Apparently this is the code that triggers it, according to my web host. The site is made from scratch, but this code is essential to how it functions.
Porthos Posted March 13, 2021 ID:1444342 Share Posted March 13, 2021 (edited) I do not see any blocks from any Malwarebytes product. Nevermind, This is a Browser Guard Block. I will Alert the proper team to investigate. There is no need for any further action from you at this time. @gonzo Edited March 13, 2021 by Porthos
Dorked Posted March 13, 2021 Author ID:1444343 Share Posted March 13, 2021 Here's a screenshot provided by one of my friends. I can confirm that I experienced it as well, but my logs don't say anything about it when I ctrl+f for it, maybe because I bypassed/ignored the block on my end? Solution gonzo Posted March 13, 2021 Solution ID:1444364 Share Posted March 13, 2021 The site has been whitelisted. Please allow 15-30 minutes for changes to take effect. For reference, I had to figure out how to make it show me the block. Long before I saw a block, I could see Chrome complaining about the coding in the console (use verbose mode). As Google tightens security on web page design methods, you will likely have more problems with the site in the future. The audio player is triggering the Malwarebytes block. Google is blocking iframe after iframe as well as suspicious page loading and unloading. I took care of the first part.
