armstrongjv Posted February 18, 2021 ID:1439712 Share Posted February 18, 2021 Subsequent to having the "TROJAN" block removed from my domain, I now have a "Website Blocked due to reputation" message. My site is in NO WAY affiliated with malware, has no REPUTATION other than the one placed on it by Malwarebytes. Please remove my site from your black list or advise what steps I need to take. Malwarebytes is now affecting my REPUTATION with false claims for visitors. Please assist. I have worked with my host to confirm no malware exists on my site, it is a simple website with no "trap doors" or "tricks". Other than the trick visitors get when Malwarebytes tells them to stay away.
Porthos Posted February 18, 2021 ID:1439718 Share Posted February 18, 2021 What is the actual site URL? This is a Browser Guard Block. I will Alert the proper team to investigate. There is no need for any further action from you at this time. @gonzo
Solution gonzo Posted February 18, 2021 Solution ID:1439721 Share Posted February 18, 2021 The site has been whitelisted. Please allow 15-30 minutes for changes to take effect. I searched your posting history to determine the domain name that was being blocked. If you have any problems in the future, please refer to the domain name. Many providers will bundle numerous domains on a single IP address. Sometimes blocks are based on the IP address and not the domain, but in the case of Browser Guard, it is the domain that was being blocked.
