Think I have infected my computer, advice needed

I opened the file in the virustotal scan above.

I have scanned with several free versions of virus scanners but all of them didn't find anything.

What is unins000.exe?

I suspect that this file is the installer for this program.

You can check the location of the file and if it's associated with this VPN then it's safe.

Hi nasdaq thanks for getting back to me.

I have uninstalled the NordUpdater as suggested.

However I believe this is not related to NordVPN as I downloaded some files and opened them without really thinking, when I saw nothing popped up like an install prompt I had realised then that I had made a mistake and uploaded said files to virustotal, which showed me the log you have seen.

Perhaps I was lucky and nothing installed? I don't really know. I haven't yet noticed any strange/unexpected behaviour on my computer.
