Need Help regarding ig.exe suspended

I do, actually, but I didnt used to! I always used DropBox and mainly Apple's iCloud. I have an online business and as a back-up I upload my stock photos to those 2 clients so that they are "safe" in the cloud incase my computer implodes (I even use USB keys as well) Then one day I decided to sync up my OneDrive to my computer (big Effing mistake) because I think it stopped syncing half way through backlogging my whole computer (like that earlier scan I did, like it timed out?) and I never got it working properly after that. Then ages later out of nowhere it seemed to work fine for about a year and then as of last week it went to ***** again. Now its WORSE, and I cant even do screenshots or right click. I would uninstall it and re-install but Im scared because its a program that came with my Laptop with Windows 10 installed and I didnt know if I would screw everything up by uninstalling it, since its a built in Windows program.

I kind of got used to it when it was running properly because I used it to do screenshots and photos from my phone (which I might take for clients etc..) would go automatically to my computer in a folder, instead of me needing to upload them manually. My phone is an iphone and computer is Windows...

Im at the point now of just stopping the program from running because its getting in the way of me functioning. What would you do? Should I get rid and start again?

For the moment try the following. Open the tray icon for OneDrive then click on Close OneDrive and it should close

Then see if you're able to do other things now or not.

It could potentially be a Windows Search indexing issue but I didn't notice any entries in the Event Logs about it.

Let me know if that helps or not

Hi, ok this whole time I have been having a fist fight with OneDrive, so basically I go to the icon tray where it has the icon with a red 'X' next to it, it says 5089 files werent uploaded to OneDrive, I have no idea what these files are or how to view them or even to load them. If I go to the control panel to where the program is and I right click on it fresh from a restart on the computer, then it will say Sync Issues with an arrow to click on. If I click on the arrow it will show me all 5089 items. I try to say "yes, sync" but then it hangs. Then I click off the page after it says not responding and then forever-more, I get hanging circle when I right click. Seems crazy. Its hard to explain. I wont waste your time with this since my original question was regarding the ig.exe suspended program form Malware Bytes. THAT seems sorted now (yay!) and I take it you didnt find any dodgy viruses or weird thing in my txt files? I mean, other than that. As long as thats all good, then we are cool here I reckon. You totally helped me out, and I want to THANK YOU. At least I dont have a virus and maybe its OneDrive causing havoc.

Thank you so much for all of your patience with me over the past couple days! I will be back online tomorrow if you have any other things you want me to do regarding the Malware Bytes. If I have any more issues or any more virus scares I will be back. You have been a great help
