Malwarebytes causes Word document to close when Add-in is activated

I routinely use a Microsoft Word Add-in called PerfectIt...have been using it for years with no issues.  Today, when I tried to use it with a document, Malwarebytes closed Word and I got a message:

I can only use the add-in if I de-deselect Exploit Protection in Malwarebytes.  What gives?  I've tried adding things to the allow list, repairing the software and even did a clean install.  Nothing worked.  I'm due to resubscribe in 2 months but now not so sure.  Please send me a work around.

Hi bvanrent,

Can you please turn off "Malicious return address Detection" for MS Office under Exploit Settings? That should stop the blocks from happening anymore. Thanks.
