Daily CHROME items detected after laptop hacked

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm new to all of this and downloaded Malware Bytes after my laptop was taken over by a scammer this week (I was trying to speak to TomTom Tech team after device had corrupted, anyhow...). Every day I have scanned my laptop and it keeps bringing up items that appear to be related to google chrome. I'm frightened to use my device. Can you help shed some light on what the logs are telling me and what I need to do to rectify please? Chrome appears to be opening twice when I open it and the themes appear different.

I also use Kaspersky Total Security and have performed a full scan. This brought up 0 threats.

I've attached the latest Malwarebytes log and also screen shots of what the scammer was trying to tell me Kaspersky was blocking on my laptop. I cant work out what settings menu he was erroneously showing me and if there is anything I need to do to rectify any issues he's created. Doc 2 also contains a malwarebytes report from yesterday.

Please help! Thank you!

It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please Attach it to your reply.
The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.

Please download the attached Fixlist.txt file to  the same folder where the Farbar tool is running from.
The location is listed in the 3rd line of the FRST.txt log you have submitted.

Run FRST and click Fix only once and wait.

The Computer will restart when the fix is completed.

It will create a log (Fixlog.txt) please post it to your reply.
