False Positive Submission (Part 2)

Recommended Posts

I have previously applied for other files. I hope I am not breaking the rules of the forum by creating a second topic. The problem is the same as in the first topic.

Our program files are now marked as containing a virus. I am attaching 3 files. I hope this is possible and there is no need to create separate issue:
1)archeage.exe
2)crysystem.dll
3)x2game.dllscan-uncrypted2-24.01.2021.zip
Themida is used to protect files. If necessary, we can send files without Themida (unpacked file).

Hello,

I'm not getting any detections. Any chance you can attach the log(s) please showing the detections?

Thanks!

I hope it is allowed to link to VirusTotal.

Thank you.

Yes, Virustotal links are fine to use.

Our engine format and configuration in VirusTotal is different than our consumer and corporate products’ default configuration. In VirusTotal we use a command-line engine with different configuration and detection techniques/heuristics which might detect more than the commercial product. There are also false-positive suppression mechanisms in the commercial product which are not present in the command-line engine in VirusTotal.

These files have been whitelisted for our commercial products and it is not detected anymore.
