BlueSky741 Posted January 22, 2021 ID:1433925 Share Posted January 22, 2021 Greeting, I am trying the one-week free trial on "Privacy". I live on the East Coast of the US and I have set the server to New York and my IP address is changed appropriately. For the most part things seem to work. One site that doesn't is my AT&T TV NOW account. Does AT&T TV NOW expect a particular IP address for it to function or is there something else going on? Link to post

I personally can not use Amazon Prime Video with the VPN on. There are going to be a few sites that will not let you use a VPN. 1 Link to post
exile360 Posted January 22, 2021 ID:1433935 Share Posted January 22, 2021 Many streaming services/websites will not allow the use of a VPN since the content they offer can often differ based on the region it is being accessed from and some services are not available in all countries. For this reason, many sites like Netflix, Amazon and others will quite often not work with a VPN. 1 Link to post

Staff gatortail Posted January 22, 2021 Staff ID:1433954 Share Posted January 22, 2021 We plan to release a split tunnel feature very soon which should help direct blocked items around the VPN tunnel while allowing the remaining traffic to remain in the tunnel. Also, for Amazon Prime you may try activating the VPN after you've begun streaming. 1 Link to post

Unfortunately, all they have to do is determine when an IP address belongs to a VPN, then blacklist that IP address, so it is very difficult for VPNs to get around the blocking of such services these days.
