OK, So I had an 8 hour patrol and fixed the problem. I just completed a system restore! Question.... is the infection still on the hard drive even though I reformatted? Since you can recover lost files, can this issue come back on it's own? I do not plan on recovering any files right now, but in the future I might. And with the way things have been going I just might forget about the infection, I don't want to bring to life my frankenstein!

a format and install of windows is not the same as using a system restore point
