Olap Posted January 12, 2021 ID:1431811 Share Posted January 12, 2021 Hello! We have a reason to believe you have recently added our domain to the suspicious data collecting sites list and we ask if you could please remove us from that list. Dynamic Yield manages 3rd party areas on customer sites offering an easy way for site administrators to implement recommended products and new articles, weather based promotions and more - consider us a CMS for 3rd parties on premium sites. As part of our offering we collect usage data (never personal data), which our clients use for their web analysis. Again: we don’t collect names, email addresses or any other identifying information only which pages and offerings are preferred by our clients’ users. You can read more about what we do at www.dynamicyield.com We suspect that since your organization identified us as a data collection risk and blocks our domain, all the content we relay are also blocked by your mechanism. If you wish to stop our data collection please focus your blocking blocking on async-px-eu.dynamicyield.com and async-px.dynamicyield.com: this way no usage data will be sent but the content we serve will still be displayed. It’s a win-win solution and would be a great help keeping our business alive. I would also like to stress that we comply with the International Safe Harbor Privacy Principles designed to comply with privacy laws protecting European Union and Swiss citizens. Stopping our data collection is easy, but when you block our domain completely you are harming our company, our clients and also their users. I appreciate your consideration, Omri Lapidot Dynamic Yield Director of R&D Operations
Staff Solution JPopovic Posted January 12, 2021 Staff Solution ID:1431813 Share Posted January 12, 2021 Hello, We don't block the parent domain (dynamicyield.com). We only block these 3 subdomains: st.dynamicyield.com srv.dynamicyield.com cdn.dynamicyield.com All 3 blocks will be removed and removal should be reflected in the next database update going out in a few hours or so. Thank you and please let us know if you need any additional help!
