Privacy on new Mac Mini with Big Sur and M1

Hello @JKY:

Although I can not personally attest to the efficacy of MBPrivacy for Mac v1.4.11.677, with a new Apple M1 based product, to include your Mac mini, I can assure you it works quite well with my Intel based MacBook Pro running macOS Big Sur 11.1 (20C69).  The fact that you seemed to have been able to install, launch and activate the app would certainly imply, but not yet guarantee, your success with M1.

Have you tried making VPN based connections through alternative geographic servers?

Does the possibility exist your Mac mini was/is running Apple's Rosetta 2 emulator with MBPrivacy for Mac?

If you have not already properly uninstalled and reinstalled v1.4.11.677, I would strongly suggest you do so.  If you still receive the "Unable to connect" notifications after activation, please consider carefully following all the procedures (including uploading the archive file (.zip)) posted by @adas at https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/268088-not-able-to-access-internet/?do=findComment&comment=1427626

Then, @adas, @treed and devs will have some MBST-Mac based data to work with when they return.

Respectfully
