Law-Nicole Posted December 24, 2020 ID:1429044 Share Posted December 24, 2020 I just received word that my law firm's website "www.tephralaw.com" is being blocked by Malwarebytes, so folks using Malwarebytes can't access it. When I tried to use my e-mail address with the same domain to register to report this to you, it said I couldn't use that e-mail address (presumably because the domain is being blocked by Malwarebytes). Malwarebytes is very broadly used in my community, which is also where potential law firm clients live, so, right now, NO potential clients who use Malwarebytes can access the website. Please, please help me. Please re-evaluate the www.tephalaw.com website, so you can see that it is perfectly safe with no issues. Thank you so very much for your help. Nicole Link to post
Porthos Posted December 24, 2020 ID:1429048 Share Posted December 24, 2020 This is a Browser Guard Block. I will Alert the proper team to investigate. There is no need for any further action from you at this time. @gonzo Just a note on Reputation Blocks. Malwarebytes Browser Guard blocks pages that come from websites with relatively light traffic and have been reported to have malicious activity. Malwarebytes err on the side of caution to assure that we are protecting our users. If our users encounter a block, they report it (as you did), it gets tested, and if it is determined to be safe, it gets whitelisted. 1 Link to post
Law-Nicole Posted December 24, 2020 Author ID:1429051 Share Posted December 24, 2020 As a small business owner, having potential clients blocked from access to my law firm (especially during COVID when the website is the face of the small business law firm) is very stressful, so I am very, very thankful for your help and explanation on this issue. Are you able to let me know how I will know when Malwarebytes has re-evaluated my website to solve this problem? I ask because I am told that, with other companies that provide Internet Security, typically an e-mail gets sent to confirm resolution, but I don't know how it works with this forum method? Thank you, again. Nicole Link to post
