Virtual Audio Cable false positive.

Hi there;
I came home to my computer today to find Malwarebytes had performed a scan and found the Virtual Audio Cable setup, ZIP file and driver pack flagged as a false positive. 

The developer of the application has publicly stated on his own forums that this is a false positive, as the Virtual Audio Cable software has been using the same setup solution since 2015 (please see attached screenshot of said forum post).
 

Can someone please fix this, I require Virtual Audio Cable for my studies.
