Dino33 Posted December 6, 2020 ID:1425424 Share Posted December 6, 2020 Hi, My website is blocked "Due to Reputation" (May contain malware activity) I'm wondering what's the process to review that website, fix issues if necessary and remove the block? It's a Wix site - www.giannihairdressing.co.uk Thanks Link to post
TomH134 Posted December 6, 2020 ID:1425431 Share Posted December 6, 2020 I saw the same thing ( Wordpress site though) www.roboprints.com Is this caused by the website/ contents or the host or someone reporting it or something else? Thanks Link to post
Porthos Posted December 6, 2020 ID:1425443 Share Posted December 6, 2020 I am not seeing a block on either one of your sites in any of my protected browsers. Link to post
Dino33 Posted December 6, 2020 Author ID:1425456 Share Posted December 6, 2020 This apparently pops up when clicking the 'log in' on my webpage. A customer said login system generates a malwarebytes warning that the site is not to be trusted? Link to post
Porthos Posted December 6, 2020 ID:1425461 Share Posted December 6, 2020 When I click on your site and clicking on log in, I get no blocks. www.giannihairdressing.co.uk The link from you last screenshot gives a 404 not found error when I bypass browser guard. Are being blocked on your admin panel. links.site-members.com I suggest you uninstall browser guard and reinstall. Just a note on Reputation Blocks. The block was triggered because your site is not in the Top Million websites based on volume, as measured by three leading firms in the industry. Malwarebytes err on the side of caution to assure that we are protecting our users. If our users encounter a block, they report it (as you did), it gets tested, and if it is determined to be safe, it gets whitelisted. Link to post
Dino33 Posted December 6, 2020 Author ID:1425467 Share Posted December 6, 2020 Thanks for the replies and your time Porthos, thought I would double check and appreciate you checking. This is exactly what the customer said - "Just FYI, your login system generates a malwarebytes warning that the site is not to be trusted. Usually this is due to others using the same site for hacking.malware etc. " Link to post

gonzo Posted December 7, 2020 ID:1425635 Share Posted December 7, 2020 Because this is becoming a catch basin for everyone who has a similar problem to the original poster, I am answering the original poster only. If you climbed on board, make your own topic. Link to post
Solution gonzo Posted December 7, 2020 Solution ID:1425636 Share Posted December 7, 2020 @Dino33 What @Porthos said about the reason for the block was accurate. I have verified it, and also observed that the domain is a blind one. The "links" subdomain is blocked, and was verified to be safe. The subdomain has been whitelisted. Please allow 15-30 minutes for changes to take effect. Link to post
