karichisholm Posted December 3, 2020 ID:1424937 Share Posted December 3, 2020 Hi there -- We have received multiple reports of our ecommerce site being blocked "due to bad repuation". https://shop.cellar503.com/wine-club-signup/ Would you please whitelist it? The site is not infected in anyway. This is the holiday shopping season and time is of the essence! Thank you for all that you do to keep the internet safe! Kari Link to post
Porthos Posted December 3, 2020 ID:1424938 Share Posted December 3, 2020 Just a note on Reputation Blocks. The block was triggered because your site is not in the Top Million websites based on volume, as measured by three leading firms in the industry. Malwarebytes err on the side of caution to assure that we are protecting our users. If our users encounter a block, they report it (as you did), it gets tested, and if it is determined to be safe, it gets whitelisted. Link to post

I gotta say, the message is a pretty scary one ("may contain malware activity"). If it really is just a matter of low-traffic and needing to be tested, shouldn't it say that? Something like "We haven't seen this website before and haven't tested it. Click here to ask us to test it." After all, by definition, this means that ALL brand-new websites are automatically blocked, right? Link to post
Solution gonzo Posted December 3, 2020 Solution ID:1424959 Share Posted December 3, 2020 I am asking for changes to wording of the message, as it can sound worrisome to some users. At the same time, wording of a "one size fits all" message is a problem too. In any event, the site has been whitelisted. Please allow 15-30 minutes for changes to take effect. Link to post
