Upgrade issue with "Preparing Automatic Loop" after update of Malwarebytes

Sir

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I recently updated my copy of Malwarebytes. After installation it required me to reboot my system. Well, I restarted my computer after the update, however, now my computer starts up in a "Preparing Automatic Repair" endless loop. I don't know what to do about this issue. I know it is from Malwarebytes update. Now mu laptop is rendered useless. Please advise.

Thanks

Sir

Hello @Sir

Sorry to hear of your issues. Is this a Windows Vista, 7, 8, or 10 system?

I can provide more specific instructions depending on which version of Windows, but basically you should be able to go into Safe Mode and uninstall or choose "Last Known Good' option.

The following is a generic set of instructions, but we can provide more details as said by letting us know what version of Windows you're running.

Thank you
