Greetings,

It may be due to the fact that the beta of Anti-Exploit uses many of the same drivers and components as the Exploit Protection in Malwarebytes Premium (since they are essentially the same thing; the standalone version is simply a beta for testing new features and detection methods before integrating them into Malwarebytes Premium).  I would recommend removing the standalone Anti-Exploit Beta, then restarting your system to see if that fixes the issue and allows Exploit Protection in Malwarebytes Premium to function.

If that does not work, please try the following to see if it fixes the issue:

  1. Download and run the Malwarebytes Support Tool
  2. Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair)
  3. Click the Clean button, and allow it to restart your system and then reinstall Malwarebytes, either by allowing the tool to do so when it offers to on restart, or by downloading and installing the latest version from here

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks

Hello together
I use the Premium 4.2.3 with the Anti-Exploit Beta 1.13.1.304.
Today I got a new update from Microsoft and I noticed that the Permium now reports that the exploit protection is not working.
Did I not see that or is it normal?

Thanks and greetings
Stefan

Hi exile360

It is still the same.
With "Premium 4.2.3" the "Exploit protection" is disabled when I install the "Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit Premium".
I'm not sure if this is intended, since the software is your own product.

It would be nice not to be bothered by Premium 4.2.3 forever when using both products.

Regards

Stefan

The beta serves a couple purposes. For users that are not using the paid premium version of Malwarebytes then it can add a layer of protection not offered by the free version.
It also allows us to test fixes for new issues reported by users from the main program integration in Malwarebytes Premium.

If you are using the paid premium version then one should not be using the Anti-Exploit beta except as a special case test where you have uninstalled the main Premium version of Malwarebytes to help diagnose and report the issue.

Normally for the vast majority of users they would not use this beta and would continue to use the paid Premium version of Malwarebytes
