Mery Posted November 17, 2020 ID:1421404 Share Posted November 17, 2020 Hello, I've used Malwarebyte to remove some malwares but they keep coming back. I used Farbar Recovery Scan Tool to scan my computer. The result is found in the attachments. Could you please help? Thanks malwarebyte scan results.txt Addition.txt FRST.txt
Solution nasdaq Posted November 17, 2020 Solution ID:1421413 Share Posted November 17, 2020 Hello, Welcome to Malwarebytes. I'm nasdaq and will be helping you. If you can please print this topic it will make it easier for you to follow the instructions and complete all of the necessary steps in the order listed. === Please download the attached Fixlist.txt file to the same folder where the Farbar tool is running from. The location is listed in the 3rd line of the FRST.txt log you have submitted. Run FRST and click Fix only once and wait. The Computer will restart when the fix is completed. It will create a log (Fixlog.txt) please post it to your reply. === If the problem persists and Chrome is Synced with other Devices reset it. https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/258886-chrome-secure-preferences-detection-always-returns/ https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/185277 Execute the suggested fix. Restart the computer normally. =========== Please post the Fixlog.txt and let me know what problem persists. fixlist.txt
Mery Posted November 17, 2020 Author ID:1421442 Share Posted November 17, 2020 Hello nasdaq, Thank you for your prompt reply. I followed the instructions and they worked just fine. There are no more threats in my pc. Yey! The only problem (because of which I suspected that my laptop was infected) is that my chrome says that it's managed by an organisation. I know that this is out of scope, but I would appreciate it if you have any helpful hints. Regards, Fixlog.txt
