Infected with Trojan!

Recommended Posts

My morning malwarebytes scan picked up a trojan. I saved the log, removed the objects, and ran another full system scan, but I know from past experience that it is often not easy to remove trojans! Please let me know if it is gone! The files are still in quarantine. Should I remove them permanently? I am going to run a boot time avast scan now, so I will be back in a bit!

Here is the morning scan

New wrinkle! I cannot run my Avast! I try to open the program to schedule a boot time scan, and get this error message

"Application cannot load skin. Function usiGetSkin Failed"

So I follow the link to the solution, run the suggested command

And i get this message

Loadlibrary("ACTSKIN4.OCX)Failed-The specific module could not be found.

That file/command is in syst 32, right? Did the virus corrupt my Avast??

I have the professional paid for version of both Avast and malwarebytes in case that makes a difference.

Pleas help! My computer is my work!!!

I'm not allowed to give malware removal advice in this forum, but these false positives were fixed.

=> http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=26416

Restore deleted entries from MBAM Quarantine and update MBAM definitions.

Hope this help. If not reinstall avast!.

Thank you! Those are my problems! I am trying the fix. :blink:
