I also notice that I have two program that if I go to about/check for update/...i get the error on network

Yes, I don't know specifically what is wrong but something appears to be wrong with either your network card or potentially your router.

If you own your own router you might want to try to reset it.

Please review the following website and read it before continuing and then do a Hard Reset back to Factory Defaults for your router.

Yes and its not the router........on this laptop the wifi card is wacked out and I use a usb netgear wifi wps thingie

and i can surf the web and do everything i need to except install those program and update or activate codes

My wifi light on the keyboard is orange and should be white..once in a lucky day it will go white...cant afford a new wifi card right now

You can look at buying an Ethernet cable and using that possibly
