Blocking vtol.org; scientific conference and webmaster has investigated

Recommended Posts

I am being blocked by Malwarebytes from accessing www.vtol.org, a site that I have visited many times preparing for this week's scientific conference.  I just started getting blocked last week.  I have notified the webmaster for this company and site, and they have stated that no Trojan Horses are present, and they are only being blocked by Malwarebytes.  Suggested that I report this as a False Positive.  I included his message but xxx out his email address.  Let me know what else needs to be done here.  Recent new Malwarebytes user.

I think that is a false positive. Malwarebytes is the only one reporting it. You might want to ask him to file a support ticket with Malwarebytes reporting our site as a possible false positive -- they will work with him to investigate.

I would do it myself but I am not a malwarebytes user and do not have an account with them.

Hello, thanks for bringing this to our attention. We've reviewed the site again and have determined it no longer warrants being blocked so we've removed it from our database.

Removal should be reflected in the next database update going out in a few hours or so.
