Unable to contact License server

I am following closely, as I too have the same very frustrating problem!  How many hours do I give to this before just giving up???  No reply from support other than to say their response "will be delayed".  Been waiting for 10 days now.

If you're still having an issue please follow the directions below.

Please download and run the following installer and this should correct the issue

https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb-windows

After installing this update make sure to click the little gear icon in the top right and go into the Settings, General and make sure check for updates is enabled.
