Hello @jets660    :welcome:     What is the Windows version on this pc ?   You indicate you installed Malwarebytes for Windows just today.  right ?

Look on the Windows taskbar  for the single arrowhead chevron icon.    click once to see the hidden grouped icons.   Do you see there the one in blue for Malwarebytes.

If so, just use your mouse to "drag & drop"  onto a spot on the Taskbar

If the instructions above do not resolve the issue, it may be due to fast startup, a feature in Windows 10 which is enabled by default and which often interferes with Malwarebytes and many other applications during boot.  If that is the case, disabling fast startup should fix it; instructions on doing so may be found here.
