Malwarebytes licenses from Newegg - can we discuss?

@bjm Newegg is a retailer that is authorized to resell certain Malwarebytes products. They offer the boxed, key card, and digital versions for retailers.

As already stated, this is similar to other authorized resellers and retailers like Amazon, Bets Buy, Staples, Office Max/Office Depot, and more.

Okay - Thanks

Newegg support would not (could not) confirm Newegg is an authorized Malwarebytes dealer/reseller -

Is there a Malwarebytes document listing authorized dealer/reseller - for example: if I find a seller on Ebay - is there a way to confirm an Ebay seller is an authorized Malwarebytes dealer/reseller?

Thanks!

@bjm sounds like some simple mis-communication from the Newegg support staff OR  they just don't have access to that level of information and therefore cannot truthfully answer it.

We do not have a public list of authorized retailers, resellers, etc. Generally speaking, any major retailer can sell Malwarebytes products and several major online retailers (e.g. Newegg, Amazon, etc.) can too along with select reseller partners (e.g MSPs, IT service providers, computer repair shops, etc.) and distributors. Our support staff can help verify a purchase if you question it.

With that being said, eBay themselves are not an authorized reseller nor a retailer. They are a bidding/3rd party marketplace. All authorized resellers are not allowed to resell Malwarebytes using any 3rd party market place system (e.g. eBay, Amazon Marketplace, G2A, etc.).

Yes, I'm aware eBay themselves do not sell anything.
Aha...Okay.  eBay is deemed "3rd party market place system" -
Thanks! for clarifying (for me) eBay vs Newegg.
