Personal Website flagged as Trojan

Fenixico

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Website URL: hxxps://fenixi.co

I am a recent Software Engineering Graduate, and a number of months ago I created a tool to fix broken game saves. Not knowing much about protecting source code, I started Googling methods and came across a program called ObfuscatorEX. I used this Program to protect my source code from being decompiled and replicated and uploaded the file to (what used to be) my personal website https://fenixi.co for others to download.

Unknown to me was that ObfuscatorEX happened to be a go-to choice for Malware creators to hide their creations from detection, so this led to both my tool and my website being marked as untrustworthy across a range of Antiviruses. I’m in the process of contacting each one individually to please re-review the site and remove the warning before users enter as I really want to avoid changing the Domain name. The site is now going to be re-purposed as a Gaming Community Forum and will not contain any software downloads whatsoever.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Aaron

Hello, thanks for bringing this to our attention. We've reviewed the site again and have determined it no longer warrants being blocked so we've removed it from our database.

Removal should be reflected in the next database update going out in a few hours or so.
