Multiple blocks for chrome accessing fastsearch.me, threat scan negative

I have also been having this problem with Malwarebytes when using Chrome. On a given day, I might get up to a dozen notices from Malwarebytes telling me that it has blocked access to filtering.fastsearch.me, as seen in the graphic. 

The notices are not annoying but I would like to know if there is an issue with Chrome. I do not get the messages using Opera and possibly not using Edge, Firefox or Vivaldi. 

On other sites, I have seen reference to a program that should be removed via Control Panel: see https://www.pcrisk.com/removal-guides/17939-fast-search-assist-browser-hijacker for more information. My PC has no such program though, nor do I have any extension in Chrome called Fastsearch or similar.

Scans of my PC using either Windows defender or Malwarebytes reveal nothing.

Can anyone advise?
