excel macro workbook upon excel launch causing Exploit blocked message

my excel startup folder includes an excel macro file that opens when I launch excel and the file is set to hidden.  In the last few weeks, every time i open Excel i now get an Exploit blocked message with a location and file name that is not present on my computer.  I would like to not receive this message going forward any help in resolving would be greatly appreciated!  attached is the report summary from Malwarebytes.

sorry upon further testing it turns out it is NOT the macro file that is causing this issue.  The Protection Technique message i get each time i launch excel  is "Attempt to execute VBScript blocked"  Need help figuring out why this is happening.  thx!
