I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 that I bought from Verizon a while back. Right now I'm on Android version 8.0.0 (not rooted).

For a while now I've been dealing with my phone freezing and slowing down to a crawl in most apps. It got to the point where Google Chrome was even struggling to run on my phone. I decided to start deleting apps to see what was causing it, and immediately after deleting Malwarebytes my phone's performance increased by a lot.

I use Malwarebytes on most devices that it's available on, but for whatever reason it was killing my S7's performance. Is there any way to make Malwarebytes a "lighter" app performance wise?
