paxlux Posted September 6, 2020 ID:1406087 Share Posted September 6, 2020 I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 that I bought from Verizon a while back. Right now I'm on Android version 8.0.0 (not rooted). For a while now I've been dealing with my phone freezing and slowing down to a crawl in most apps. It got to the point where Google Chrome was even struggling to run on my phone. I decided to start deleting apps to see what was causing it, and immediately after deleting Malwarebytes my phone's performance increased by a lot. I use Malwarebytes on most devices that it's available on, but for whatever reason it was killing my S7's performance. Is there any way to make Malwarebytes a "lighter" app performance wise? mbam_mtbr Posted September 11, 2020 ID:1407098 Share Posted September 11, 2020 Hi @paxlux, It may want to try clearing the cache of Malwarebytes for Android to see if that helps. Also, an reinstall may help. We let our dev team now about the issue. Nathan
