NOT able to install version 4.2 of Malwarebytes

Recommended Posts

Unfortunately, if QQPCMgr is somehow preventing Malwarebytes from installing, there is likely little or nothing Malwarebytes can do to resolve the issue as Malwarebytes needs to be able to write its files to disk along with the installation of its drivers, services and registry entries.  It is likely that the developers of QQPCMgr would need to address the issue in their software.

That said, I will report the issue once more to the Malwarebytes Product team for review.

If there is anything else we might help with please let us know.

Same problem have not been fixed over half year

This is not an issue with the Malwarebytes installation process.

The software in question (QQPCMgr) is preventing the Malwarebytes installer service from writing to the registry. This is an issue that should be taken up with and addressed by the vendor of the other software.
